The Agro-Environmental Studies Bureau (BEAE) is a non-profit organization (NPO) specialized in studies, technical assistance and support for agro-environmental projects in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Through an integrated approach combining technical expertise, community participation and solutions adapted to local realities, BEAE contributes to food security, climate resilience of production systems, and the sustainable management of natural resources. Based in Mbanza-Ngungu, in Kongo Central Province (DRC), BEAE works for the benefit of rural communities, agricultural producers, cooperatives, public institutions, NGOs, and technical and financial partners.

Who We Are ?

BEAE is a technical expertise organization committed to sustainable rural development, operating at the intersection of applied research, public policies and field-based actions. Our team is composed of agricultural engineers, specialized technicians and multidisciplinary experts, mobilized to design and implement sustainable, inclusive and measurable agro-environmental solutions. Through our studies, training programs and field interventions, we strengthen the capacities of farmers, farmer organizations, rural cooperatives and young entrepreneurs, with the aim of promoting more productive, resilient and environmentally friendly agricultural systems.

Feasibility studies, socio-economic analyses, and mapping

Assessment of the technical, economic, social and environmental feasibility of agricultural, environmental and community projects.

Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA)

Analysis of potential project impacts and formulation of mitigation measures in line with national and international standards.

Agro-environmental data collection and analysis

We collect, process, and analyze reliable data to support decision-making, guide agricultural policies, and improve the effectiveness of field interventions.

Advisory services in sustainable agricultural techniques

Promotion of agroecology, integrated natural resource management and good agricultural practices.

Appropriate irrigation systems

Design and implementation of efficient and accessible irrigation systems, adapted to local conditions.

Aquaculture and rural fish farming systems

Support for the development of sustainable fish farming systems to strengthen incomes and food security.
